Facial Implants

What are Facial Implants?

Facial implants are biocompatible, permanent devices placed to enhance facial contours, commonly used in the chin, cheeks, or jaw to define and balance facial structure. They provide a more pronounced and lasting enhancement compared to temporary fillers, creating a sculpted and harmonious appearance. Ideal candidates include people looking to correct structural deficiencies or boost facial symmetry with long-term results.

How It Works

During the procedure, implants are inserted through small incisions—typically inside the mouth or under the chin—to position them over the target bone for a natural-looking enhancement. The implants come in various shapes and sizes to suit individual facial anatomy, and the surgeon selects or customizes the right fit. Once the implant is in place, the incisions are closed with fine sutures, and the implant becomes integrated under the tissue.

Recovery and Aftercare

Recovery usually involves mild swelling and discomfort that peak in the first few days and gradually fade over one to two weeks. Most people return to normal daily activities within a week while avoiding strenuous exercise for a few more weeks. The implants are designed to remain stable for years, offering lasting improvement in facial structure and confidence.
